I enjoyed The Gallows Curse, interesting with a nice little twist at the end. Have read other books written by Karen Maitland, ie,Owl Killers, and The Gallows Curse was written in a similar way with lots of historical references - obviously a lot of research goes into all of her writing/5(92). I profess I am hooked by Sharon Stevenson's books about the Gallows Twins. And with Book 4, 'Curse Corrupted', it is no different. It's a difficult book to review without giving anything away, but it has urban fantasy oozing out of it.
